Meet the Chief

Step into the world of Walla Walla County Fire District #4, a place where dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to keep their community safe. Formed in 1948 by a group of citizens concerned about the lack of fire protection, the district has been a pillar of the community for over 75 years.

Our district serves a population of approximately 9,500 residents spread over 125 square miles located west, south, and east of Walla Walla and College Place cities. We offer a wide range of services that include fire suppression, rescue, ARFF crash rescue, BLS and ALS medical transports, fire prevention, and public education.

Our team of dedicated volunteers spends countless hours training and responding to calls throughout the year. Whether it’s a raging fire or a medical emergency, our team is always prepared to step up and help their neighbors in need.

Our members are our strength, and the majority of them are volunteers who selflessly give their time and effort to keep the community safe. From the seasoned veterans to the enthusiastic newcomers, each member of the Walla Walla County Fire District is a vital part of our team.

So, welcome to the Walla Walla County Fire District #4! We’re here to protect and serve, and we take that responsibility very seriously. If you ever find yourself in a time of need, know that you can always count on us to be there for you.
