WW Fire District #4 is sending a team to theScott Fire Fighter stair climb challenge in Seattle WA! This is a great opportunity for our local fire departments to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our team of fire fighters will race to the top of the Columbia Tower in Seattle, 1311 steps, 69 floors in full combat gear. Our fund raising efforts for last year came to $8,100 and change. We hope to raise more then $15,000 in 2012. Our team placed 44th out of 281 fire departments for racing times and in top 25 for fund raising in 2011.
